Over the last year and a half, we have had a true blessing to own our house. With this blessing has come much work, love put into the inside and out, and many blessings. It is very true that a house is only a house, but the people who come in and out of it make it a home. Although we have put much work into it, the blessings that have come from it and the love we have been able to show by having the space have been ever more abounding. Our home has been a place of comfort for just Paul and I to come home to every night and sit and relax. However, as we were in the process of buying a house we also prayed that he guide us to the house that he knew we needed and to use it to God's glory. Our home is laid out to be an entertaining home. When we stepped inside our house for the first time, we knew we were given the gift of hospitality by obtaining this home. I am thankful for the several opportunities I have had to host baby showers, Christmas Eve, wedding showers, girls night outs, and just good old family times. God has truly blessed us with a house that has quickly become a home, shelter, and safe place for us. We pray that God will continue to use us through our home to be more hospitable and sharing.
Thank you God for this blessing.
