Showering Friends!!!!

In February we found out that some of our wonderful friends are having a  baby!! I asked to host her baby shower for William Scott closer to the time that  he would be born.  We have been praying for this baby before he was born, so are thrilled that he is joining their family. I have also told Paul from the get go that it would be wonderful to have our children grow up together. Life works out in very marvelous ways! So, this past Sunday we were able to shower her with many wonderful things and time with friends. We could not be more thrilled for them and to share this journey alongside them! I am hoping for a great friendship for our children too!!

A few more of the guests! Yes.... that's me.... the hostess falling down on the job! However, 11.5 weeks pregnant in August running around, just didn't allow for me to be up and moving around as much! Taking  a break and enjoying the shower!

We look forward to September 28th when William makes his appearance and we get to meet this little guy. Until then, we wait, pray, and enjoy time with the mommy and daddy to be!

Side note: The papas decided to catch a movie and lunch while festivities were going on. They came in around 3! They were both funny to watch as they scoped out the gifts talking about how you use each one of the items! This should be a fun time to watch them grow together in the role of fatherhood as Amy and I share this special time of motherhood! So glad we have this couple to learn and grow with!
